Data processing policy.

The protection of your privacy is important to us.

It is important to us to know that you feel safe when visiting our website. For this reason, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. The protection of your privacy in the processing of personal data is a major concern of ours.

We will collect, store and use your personal data in the context of the statutory data protection provisions.

Please note that the website of LLC German Centre for Industry and Trade GmbH may include links to the websites of other providers. Our privacy statement does not cover these sites. If you visit a third-party website, we recommend that you inform yourself of the data protection guidelines applicable to that website.

Personal, anonymized or pseudonymized data.

Personal data is any information related to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable natural person. This includes your name, e-mail address, telephone number and occasionally other data that you may put into your message.

Your personal data can be anonymized. This involves changing the data so that it is either not possible to attribute it to a specific person or that the attempt would involve disproportionately great effort. In the case of pseudonymized data the name or other piece of personal information is deleted altogether and substituted.

Collection, storage, use, and passing on of personal data.

We collect, store, process, and use personal data:

  • where this is necessary for rendering our services,
  • to conatct you, and
  • in order to send you information on products and services.

We will process your data only for the purposes stated.

Visiting our information pages.

If you visit our information pages on the Internet we will only store the IP address of your computer for a short period. The IP address is the individual address of a computer in a computer network. This means that you are able to use our information offerings on the Internet at any time without having to disclose your data.

Use of our other offerings on the Internet.

We will store your personal data only if you provide the information yourself. This is the case, for example, if:

  • you send a query or suggestions using a contact form or via e-mail, or
  • you send us an order.

In these cases you communicate your data to us voluntarily. You yourself decide whether to provide your name and other personal information (such as your postal address, e-mail address or phone number). You are not obliged to communicate this information to us. But please be aware that we can supply the requested products, services, and information only if we know your name and email-address.

E-mail/contact forms.

We will store and use your data if you send us an e-mail or a message via a contact form. This includes, for example, your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. But we will use your data only for our services and for communicating with you.

Please note that if you send us an e-mail which includes personal data, transmission of such data via the Internet is not secure. In theory, it is possible for unauthorized persons to read or falsify this information.

Passing on your personal data.

We greatly value the trust you place in us. For this reason, we protect your personal data very carefully. We will use your personal data for internal purposes and for our business relationship with you. In any case we will pass on your data only with your approval unless legal provisions or court measures force us to pass it on to state institutions or agencies.

Revoking permission.

Authorization given to use your data can be revoked at any time with future effect. Personal data will be deleted if you revoke your consent to the storage of your data, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose intended when stored or if the use of the data is not permitted for legal reasons.

Right of information.

Upon request we will provide you with information on all the personal data that we have stored about you. You can also have errors and inaccurate data corrected, updated, deleted, or blocked.

Security in the processing of personal data.

We endeavor to meet the highest security standards when collecting and processing your data. We use technical and organisation measures to ensure that your data is secure. These measures protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, and access by unauthorized persons.
